Ideally on the budget end. Shampoo / conditioner / leave in conditioner / styling cream recs welcome. I have hair oils already. It’s just looking dry and awful at the moment. Please help! Thank you.

I can tell you what I do but I’m afraid it is not budget! I usually wash my hair 3 x week with sulphate free shampoo and conditioner plus:
1 x per week elasticizer
1 x per week living proof bond builder
1 x per week aveda hair repair cream
plus I use silicone free oil - I like living proof but Ouai is okay too. I also get a keratine treatment at the hairdresser every 5 months or so. This makes a big difference but is expensive- £200 - on top of regular cut & colour.
I don’t use expensive shampoo and conditioner- method shampoo and ogx conditioner - but the treatments and oil really do help and I’m afraid they aren’t cheap. I’ve tried a few bond builders and like the living proof one the best but there are cheaper high street ones around now that you could try.

😭😭😭 yikes. Maybe I’ll splurge on one of those. Thanks for taking the time!

Is your hair wavy/curly?

I have long, thick, wavy, frizz prone hair. I wash with head & shoulders (though I don’t think this is important), condition with cantu weightless smoothing conditioner and brush in the shower before washing the conditioner out.
I use a T shirt to put it in a turban while I get dressed. I then rub in a bit of cantu weightless 15+ benefits daily leave in. I comb with a very wide tooth comb (this makes it less curly but a lot neater and less wild looking). Then with wet hands I scrunch in some umberto gianini curl jelly (pink one). Leave to air dry

I think sulphate free (herbal essence do an aloe and bamboo one, with sulphate free you may need to wash your hair twice though) and using a hair mask instead of normal conditioner will probably help.

It’s wavy rather than curly. Thanks, they look in my price range!
