With the increasing popularity of weight-loss injections I suspect there are a lot of people in my position now.
I am in my late 50s, have lost over 9st, which is amazing and I feel healthier than I have done for decades. But, I also have a deflated B belly with loose skin aprons above and below my waist, loose skin over thighs/above knees, a flat butt and bingo wings.
With significant weight-loss and a body I no longer recognise I don’t know how to dress. I’ve spent the last couple of decades buying from “Yours” clothes to in bigger and bigger sizes and now don’t know where else to shop and what to wear.
I am a 32H bra (that I can fit well), a 12-14 bottom, but wearing mostly size 14-16 longer length pintuck/flared tops over jeans to disguise my aprons. I did buy a Sophie shirt (navy) from white stuff which was nice but I wasn’t keen on the other patterns as lighter colours are less forgiving.
Any recommendations for places for shirts/blouses/tops that are forgiving (long or 3/4 sleeve, bum covering) and semi smart with blue/black denims for work? Appreciate any guidance where to try.
I would love to try a personal shopper at some point but don’t stay near anywhere easily accessible that I can go to.
