I am going to Spain for a week and am looking for a tinted moisturiser or glow serum I can mix with moisturiser that I can wear instead of foundation.

Complexion wise, I have light olive skin, but my face tans less than my body. I have combination skin, and I am in my mid 40s.

I am not bothered about having SPF in it because I intend wearing a separate SPF anyway.

To make things more difficult, I don't want to spend £££ because realistically, it is only going to be used until the autumn (and possibly for a few weeks again next summer if the product shelf life is long enough).

Please hit me with your suggestions.

Try the No 7 serum foundation, it’s affordable and does come with SPF too.

Tan luxe. Make sure you get the face one, you just add a few drops to your normal moisturiser on a night

The Ordinary serum foundation.
Good colour choice, affordable plus a pump rather than a dropper, so easier to use.

I like the bondi sands tinted moisturiser and it’s spf 50.

If you don’t find anything before you go, Mercadona supermarkets in Spain have an amazing makeup range for not much money at all, I got this glowy serum foundation on a visit a couple of weeks ago, it was about €6. Very light and lovely to wear

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look.

I have the tan lux drops and do sometimes use those at night, but I was hoping to find something that means I can skip foundation if possible.

I wear Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue as my normal “foundation” as I find foundation much too heavy. It’s a really nice tinted moisturiser that gives a nice subtle glow.

Sculpted by Aimee Tint & Glow or Hydratint.

I use this too. Surprisingly good for the price! Slightly greasy tho but great if you have dry skin.

I love the NYX glaze tint. Easy to blend, you glow wearing it, got SPF 30 in it, it lasts and it’s a tenner.

Another sculpted by aimee fan hydratint. Ive used the erborian cc cream for years but swapped to this recently and its lovely. If my skin is in good shape I use the peaches and cream skin tint. No real coverage but gives a lovely glow to my face

Hi OP, you can look into a hydrating serum with "hyaluronic acid" & some "light-reflecting mica or silica"... Drugstore hydrating serums/moisturizers have the same active ingredients (like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, panthenol) as expensive brands. & SPF matters a lot for your skin health.
