Repeated order cancellations on Vinted and Vestiaire, or problem with my account?

The last two things I tried to buy on Vinted, the seller never posted the item to me and the order ended up being cancelled. In both cases, I messaged the sellers the day before the posting deadline and asked if they were going to be able to fulfil the order and I got no response. It was really weird because in one case, I'd sent an offer and the seller had accepted it and sent me a message saying she'd send it out straight away. And on looking at their profiles afterwards, the supposed automatic negative feedback that they're supposed to get for not posting an order never appeared in their ratings.

It makes me think that there was some sort of problem with the orders themselves and that they were never received.

Weirder still, I then went onto Vestiaire Collective in the hope that the items being more expensive and sellers having more of a reputation to maintain would make it more reliable. I added something to my favourites and the seller sent me an offer almost straight away, and I then bought it. And now exactly the same thing has happened! The posting deadline is tomorrow, I've sent them a message and had no response.

Have I just had really bad luck with flaky sellers, could there be a problem with my account on both websites, or am I cursed?? I just wanted to get a 100% wool coat for less than £100, which is impossible when buying new, but it's starting to look like that's going to be my only option.

But these happened after I'd already paid and the cancellation was after it was never sent?

A lot of pro sellers are struggling with the AI bot flagging and suspending their accounts which means they can’t fulfil their orders or communicate with their buyers until they get their account back.

What carrier did you select for Vinted? I've sold a couple and didn't realise until the sale went through that the carrier the buyer had selected needs you to print off the label rather than just using a code. Not a problem as I have a printer but I did think that might make it less worth while for other sellers if they have to faff around

I can't read that because I don't have a subscription, is there any way of summarising or posting a share token?

I’d paid too and had to fight for a refund.
Not impressed to say the least.

I only ever use InPost, which should offer a no-label option.

@Tiddlywinks63 oh, so so mean you'd paid and the order seemed to have gone through, but actually somebody else had also paid and the item was sent to them instead? And then you struggled to get a refund?

What kind of wool coat are you after? I’m a Vinted seller and would usually list summer things this time of year but can see if I have anything similar to what you’re after. I just clear out my wardrobe from time to time.

That's kind, but I found one on Vestiare in the end. I've deleted my Vinted account for now because I was having no end of issues and my hit rate for getting things that fitted (when they were even sent) was rubbish anyway.
