Desperately seeking this matalan dress

Does anyone happen to have this dress in a size 12 that they don't want/ doesn't fit/ don't like on and would consider selling?

I have it in the 14 and it's beautiful but sadly, too big for me now. I can't get it in the 12 anywhere. It's out of stock online and it's not in any stores in Scotland, it seems.

Vinted is not proving successful, as yet.

Cant you alter/have it altered?

I usually just lurk on MN but I tried this on in a size 12 in my local Matalan in High Wycombe about 10 days ago (the 14 fit me better). It really is the most amazing and flattering dress, there’s something about the sleeve style and cinched waist that looks fab. I’m popping into Matalan in the morning and if by some miracle the 12 is still available I can get it and post it to you?

Getting the size 14 altered is a Plan B, but with all the pleating, I think it may lose something if tweaked.

I’m so sorry they only had two size 8s - I’m not surprised it’s so popular. Elizabeth Taylor-esque yes! I reckon if it comes to it a good dressmaker could take it in (although may cost more than the dress in the first place…). Good luck!
