I know it seems unimaginable in this weather, but I am going on holiday to a mountain region where it's likely to be hot in the day and cool in the evening. so would like to buy a light fleece or jumper. It would need to be reasonably lightweight and packable.
I like to dress stylishly,, I like block colours and structured clothes with distinct shape. I would like something more fashionable than the standard Mountain Warehouse kind of fleece. I had a Muji fleece that I loved years ago, but they don't seem to do them any more.
The problem is that as I've got older I've developed an increasing sensitivity to some kinds of synthetic fabrics. Not all synthetics, I'm usually fine with soft fleeces, but it would have to be collarless. I generally can't wear collars as they make my neck itch. Also no elasticated wrists or waist, something that hangs straight so I can wear it over dresses.
Can anyone suggest ideas for a fussy 52-year-old?
