How can I fake tan around this patch of skin?!

I have recently come out in a patch of what is suspected to be eczema or psoriasis on my elbow. It’s quite red and angry at times, but also very dry. I’ve got a steroid cream for it, which is helping. I have a wedding to go next week and need to fake tan. My dress is sleeveless and I have a horrendous runners tan. How do I do this? Do I just use a gradual moisturising tan, or apply a barrier cream to this part? Help!

If it was me I'd apply vaseline on it so it doesn't take the tan, otherwise it'll be super dark as it's so dry.

That’s my worry!

You can always go back and apply a tiny bit mixed in with a body lotion if it's too white in comparison, when developed. It's easier to add more than remove.
