Men’s shirts for India in August?

Ds 22 is off to north India in the summer to meet his girlfriend’s family and I’m stressing about him having something a bit smarter to wear. Cheesecloth? I’m not sure how to help him be comfortable!

Linen is best in heat, but needs more ironing

He could do with long trousers too, shorts aren’t worn as much

I would buy there to be honest if he's going to be anywhere near shops they will have some stunning light materials as the country is more catered for the weather.
