What to wear for an NHS manager interview

I’ve been asked to interview for a manager role in the NHS and need ideas of what to wear - please help!

Linen over size shirt & trousers?
maxi skirt & shirt?
barrel trousers, smart shoes & a fitted top?

not a suit. I haven’t seen a person in the nhs on a suit (except for execs) for a long long time.

how old are you? What band is it for?

Running shoes so you can make a swift exit!

Oversize linen shirt is too casual.
You need to dress smarter for interview than for day to day work.
I'd say smart trousers, plain top and blazer/jacket, or blazer/jacket over shift dress.

Thanks all, it’s an 8a role, non clinical. I took redundancy from the NHS in March so know what I’m getting into, just haven’t interviewed for a long time!

Id usually wear tailored trousers and fitted top. If it’s very hot you could email and ask about it. A linen dress would be fine if not strappy/too short etc. I feel it’s become much more casual of late, I often feel overdressed
