Help with comfortable wedding sandals to style with a silk maxi dress please.

Help please!

I’m due to attend a very small but swanky wedding in London at the end of the month and have bought this dress

I’m having problems with styling the shoes to go with it. I’m thinking sandals rather than closed toe shoes because it’s likely to be hot weather. Nothing too high or spiked heeled please. Any ideas?

What a stunning dress! Eithe of those Air and Grace would look lovely, but I actually think the brown suede would look best.

How about these ? Thy have a chunky heel and a low wedge so won't feel as high as they look.

Love that dress. Would suit lots of sandal colours. The peacock blue ones are gorgeous.

Thank you all! I can confirm it is a very flattering and lovely dress, and hopefully the shoes will go. I have seen that Bettina bag @26inprogress and have it in the back of my mind but I have the Madea bag in silver and I love it. Will keep looking. Thank you all x

@Gymnopediegivesmethewillies The shoes you have ordered are similar to the ones Liberty show with the dress. It’s satin so you could get hot. It’s a great dress.

The colours are so beautifully rich that I would pick out both the rusty-orange & the blue, & go for something like these:

How funny! Are they too bright to go with that colourway? It looks more brown than rusty-orange? I think that kind of style is good with the dress.

I think they might be. I can’t believe I mixed up the patterns. I ordered a blouse in the peacock pattern at the same time, that I didn’t keep, and they must have got mixed up in my mind - what a donkey! I actually love the pattern on the one I bought - plus it was £200 instead of £400+ which makes me even happier!
