Mid 50s and confused about starting a better skincare routine

Help!
I'm mid 50's and have suddenly become very old looking. Today, I was asked if I am over 60 - hence panicking and coming here!

I've never worn much make, up or taken an interest in Syle & Beauty, but I think I need to start paying attention.

My facial routine at the moment is minimal - a morning use of Oil of Ulay with SPF and then at the end of the day I use a cleansing wipe to remove make-up/the day's grime.

So I've done some research today and need to up my game, but I'm really confused. What I can see it the following:

retinol - good for skin renewal
peptide moisturiser - encourages collagen production
hyaluronic acid serum (deep moisture) - deep moisture and plumping up

Which one should I use?! My skin is OK wrinkle-wise, not any deep frown marks..

Any advice most welcome - thank you! x

I think you can go down a rabbit hole of skin care, and empty your bank account in the process.
I use a vitamin C serum in the morning under my SPF moisturiser.
