...none of which I have worn since before dd1

am still feeding dd2 (16 months so not loads of feeding, but still...) and therefore none of my dresses fit.

it i a close run thing with one ancient monsoon dress - would probably do, but is on the tight side - get uattractive underarm overspill...

so, where can I find a dress (obv highstreet given timings) that I can dash off to buy?

have a reasonable selection of shops nearish me, and could shop tihs pm/tomorrow morning...

am a size 12/14 I reckon (old monsoon dress is a 10 I think, but must have stretched over the years! others were made ot measure so not a hope of squeezing in what with boning etc)

Help!

budget - could go to 200 pounds or so if necessary, but would obv rather not.

yes full length - preferably not too flouncy.

off to look at links now, thanks!

Ghost dresses are really flattering and forgiving, I like this

ooh, blimey, I can't keep up!

tmmj - I think strapless is out - I'm quite broad shouldered for my size, and have big norks (currently wear 36DD, but off to bravissimo on Friday and fully expect to come out a 34 HHH or somehting!). I like the debenhams one you linked to (the taffeta ballgown but think it's a little full around the hips/bum (would def make me look huge)

Sazisi - like the ghost one in style (is similar to one I have) not sure about the decoration, but it might grow on me

LL - I think strapless out, as tend to get overspill under arms/top of norks. This might be solved with decent bras, but won't know until too late.

having said that, I love the black shaped one - wouls suit me well I think, aside from obvious strapless issue. But, I'm curvy (mostly in all the right places!) and have a good waist.

lots to mull over - will have anothere look through
