Should I go back to the salon?

Hi everyone just wanted some opinions. I got a korean lash lift and Hd brows done yesterday at the salon and ive just had a proper look and feel a bit disappointed as there are some stray eyebrow hairs left and the lash lift just looks a bit rubbish but my lashes aren't really in the best condition as she said but im happy with the brow shape but the stray hairs are really bugging me and it was £85 altogether and so im thinking if I should send her a message or are they ok and im being unreasonable as I hate complaining. Thanks. Pic attached.

Should I go back to the salon?

I used to get regular lash lifts and would absolutely go back although be prepared for her to blame you for sleeping on your face or showering after the treatment. Did they look ok when she did them?
The brows actually look better than I’ve ever had from a HD brows treatment but that patch is a bit odd. I’d probably let the brows go in favour of getting the lashes sorted but likely go elsewhere to get treatments next tine.

Your lash lift is very spindley i have sparse eyelashes so I dont get lifts anymore, if you are not happy then I do think you should say to them £85 is a lot of money to lose if you are miserable, i can't comment on the browser because I am not sure how HD brows are supposed to look.

DancingNotDrowning · 03/07/2026 11:19

That’s shockingly bad.

I wouldn’t go back because they’ve done such a bad job of both brows and lashes that I wouldn’t want them even attempting to fix them. I’d just never go again.

Your brows look great, better than the ridiculous fanlike ones the young uns are having 😂
I would definately go back about the lashes though

Thanks for the replies. I didn't really look close up if im honest as I hate the bright ring light when she shows me at the end. Im really happy with the brow shape but the stray hairs are really annoying me as I cant seem to remove them myself. My lashes are generally rubbish anyway to be fair to her but I just feel like ive wasted my money and they look worse than before but then feel really embarrassed complaining about her work

She should have removed small stray hairs on your brow. And there is a sort of gap which unless a scar or something stands out a bit.
The eyelashes are not all done.
I agree with PP to go somewhere else to rectify.

Oh I’m so sorry OP. I got a lash lift for my sister’s wedding (110€!!!) and it was so disappointing. You literally couldn’t see the difference in the before and after.

The best results I’ve had with my lashes are false lash clusters, the ones that last 7 days that you can sleep in.

I wouldn’t complain, I just wouldn’t go back again or get it done again. You live and learn!

CharlotteSometimes1 · 03/07/2026 11:53

Yep those stray hairs lower down shouldn’t be there.

Lomonald · 03/07/2026 11:55

Message them say there is a few stray hairs can you come back to get them sorted, maybe mention the lashes and ask what they "recommend" to sort them.

OneAmberHedgehog · 03/07/2026 11:58

Yes the gap is a scar unfortunately the stray hairs are really annoying as the other eyebrow is perfect. Ive been going to the same salon for a few years now and usually have no complaints and its the owner who does it so im guessing she would want me to say if I wasn't happy as a loyal customer. She did comment on the condition of my eyelashes so mabye the lift isn't her fault but there are several stray hairs at the bottom that have been missed but I just feel so awkward in these situations.

Your eyebrow looks fab. I have regular lash lifts and sometimes they don’t take for various reasons but I do find that when I put mascara on my lashes after a lift they look 100% better.

MrFluffyDogIsMyBestFriend · 03/07/2026 12:31

That's a very weird lash lift. I used to do lash lifts and occasionally they didn't take but I never had a situation where a few of the lashes took but most of them didn't.

DancingNotDrowning · 03/07/2026 12:37

Re the brows it’s not just the stray hairs but the severe trimming of the top of the head of the brow, the sharpness of which is not made chef by the most outer edge - it’s unbalanced and too severe in itself but exacerbated by the scar.
