How do you wear one of these while driving a car without feeling like it's digging into your head or worrrying that if you slam the brakes on it'll do me a mischief!

I wear these almost daily, it's never been a problem!

Glendaruel · 29/06/2026 16:37

I have to take it out to drive

ChoccyHobknob · 29/06/2026 16:39

Yeah I take it out!

helpfulperson · 29/06/2026 16:39

I take them out and out it back in when I arrive. Partly for safety but mostly because I find it uncomfortable with the headrest pushing it into the back of my head.

Skybluepinky · 29/06/2026 16:39

Advice has always been remove whilst driving.

nopiesleftinthisvehicle · 29/06/2026 16:39

I would substitute it for a scrunchie.

PangolinPan · 29/06/2026 16:40

Take it out while driving.
Nurse tiktok has taught me that!

DewDropsAndCobWebs · 29/06/2026 16:40

Don't Google if you have a tender tummy....but there are videos of the damage those can do to the back of your scalp if you stop suddenly.
There was a thread a while back of thing doctors/nurses won't do, that one , along with no trampoline, were near the top of the list.

Google “flat claw grip” - lots available. They follow we round on Facebook even though I don’t use them.

SPSN · 29/06/2026 16:48

You don't!
Get a flat one instead.

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 29/06/2026 16:49

I put it low at the nape of my neck, or up on top like a pineapple!

WeddingInvitation · 29/06/2026 16:54
