Hair one. 66 and my hair’s impossible now

my hair is cut in a just below chin length bob, same length not layered. Cut and blow dry every 7 weeks, Blonde highlights twice a year. My hair is fair so not needed more often.
Over the past 6 months it’s getting more difficult to style, it drops and flattens. My fringe becomes limp. My hair isn’t straight it’s got kinks. I don’t use straighteners. Hairdryer and round brush to style only.

Also it’s thinning and getting greasier. I wash it every other day on the whole. Sometimes I put Batiste in to get an extra day but my scalp gets very itchy so try not to use it much.

I always use hairspray. Don’t use conditioner or any other styling products. Use Bodyshop ginger shampoo as it’s soothing for my scalp.

Is it my age and all I can expect now?
My hair was my pride and joy and it looks bloody awful now.

Any suggestions for products etc?
Sorry it’s a long post!

Similar age and problems here. Used to have thick short very straight hair, suddenly it's thinner with a noticeable kink and a mind of its own. Following with interest....
