Struggling to find size 12 clothes in shops?

Has anyone else had difficulty finding size 12 clothing in stock in shops?

I a, desperate for summer clothes, my budget is small so I had a look in Sainsbury’s today (for the 3rd time) and there was barely anything in a size 12, hardly any size 10 or 14 either, just size 8 or size 16+. Next online is similar, never anything I like left in a size 12. I know autumn clothes is starting to appear but even some newer items don’t have my size.

This seems to happen when ever I go into a real shop for clothes and often online too.

I have managed to order one summer dress from Uniqlo but I can’t find any shorts or basic summer tops in my size.m

Has anyone else noticed the same?

Most stores are given the same number of an item in each size so the popular sizes sell out and they are left with the ones people are less likely to want.

You just have to be quick and buy them as soon as they come in the shops in March/April. I was looking in Sainsbury's today and there were hardly any 10/12/14/16 in useful things like t shirts. I make this mistake every year!

I find TU Sainsburys clothes come up really big. Im usually 10 which is always sold out so Ive been buying an 8 which always fits well.
Normally my skeleton isnt a size 8.

Yea, I make the same mistake every year. I think I underestimated how hot it would be and how much summer clothes I would need. Last week was so hot and I desperately wanted a light summer dress (I rarely wear dresses) and some thinner shorts. I can’t seem to find any in the shops in my size and was shocked to see them putting the autumn clothing out.

Sainsbury's only ever seems to have 14 and above in-store. I'm a 6 - they're as rare as hens' teeth in Sainsbury's. I always kick myself for not getting things the minute they come in - as that seems to be the only way.
