Today I emptied my underwear drawer into the bin. Then went shopping for a whole new lot of nice stuff!

It felt amazing.
Out with the old 5 pack undies from tescos and worn out bras in various sizes that don't fit anymore. Out went the maternity and nursing bras and out went the giant caesarian pants.
In went fabulous, sexy, gorgeous bras and pants.

Do it.

apparently custy the credit crunch actually promotes this sort of "treat me" behaviour

it's just houses that don't sell

allegedly

HaventSleptForAYear · 24/06/2008 16:22

Wish I could do this.

But then again, don't think I could justify the expense.

Noone ever sees it anyway. DH not bothered about "sexy" underwear.

Anna8888 · 24/06/2008 16:26

I need to do this - my underwear is all droopy apart from one set of black La Perla and one nude Wolford set.

Sales start here tomorrow

OverYOURDeadBody · 24/06/2008 16:28

lol custy

Dragonbutter · 24/06/2008 16:28

It was long overdue i tell you.
DH tactfully suggested it might be about time.
Sale already on in debenhams.
Right, better go to work.

i did that recently - no more babies for me so i think i am staying this size

is it normal to buy two or three pairs of knickers to go with the bra? does everyone do this in the world except me?

MrsTittleMouse · 24/06/2008 17:18

I do that too newgirl - I reckon that it's not worth washing a bra after one wear unless it's really hot.

MrsTittleMouse · 24/06/2008 17:21

DH has told me that when I'm done with pregnancy and breastfeeding that we'll go out and blow a load of money on nice underwear for me. It's really important to him. It was important to me, but since having DD I just can't be bothered as I change size so much (PG again soon after finishing BFing). Mind you, it'll be a good incentive to get into shape again when I finally have my body back.

Dragonbutter · 24/06/2008 22:50

Newgirl, yes i did think of that today. I've never done that, just usually buy a set. But might pop back to the shops if some bras turn out to be favourites and get some extra knickers.
