Money piece or balayage for thick curly hair with greys?

My hair is mousey in it's origin. Very thick, large curls. It's good hair but high maintenance. It can be very dry and frizzy. I use no heat on it and lots of nice curly hair products (not CGM).
I have a lot of grey. Mainly on the top. Underneath and sides are salt and pepper, top is pale grey now. I have some highlights, nothing major just a bit of blonde.
I'm thinking about a money piece. Anyone had this on similar hair? Should it be balayage?
I thought about having half a head of foils but I just know it will end up a block of warm colours that I don't love.

After Googling “money piece” I would say that it depends on your personal style. Do you prefer a more subtle balayage or a more statement look? I have loads of grey too and am heading in the direction of au naturale.

A biased opinion perhaps. Surely dyeing/bleach will not help with the dryness problem? Your hair sounds fantastic as it is and in your shoes, I would suggest focusing on perfecting your product and styling routine.

As a fellow curly with greys, I thought I had gotten the best results possible. A few curly hair tutorials online last year and a switch of products and it looks so much better. I don’t like the idea of sleeping in a bonnet so I have a silk pillowcase and wear my hair up in a satin scrunchie for bed instead.

I've been fully grey before. It's ok but it's not fabulous like I imagined. I don't wear much make up and my skin looks a much nicer colour with some blonde in.
As for the condition, I won't have bleach in, only high lift tint. It won't look dry because I wear lots of nice products.
Currently I use Curlsmith Double Cream, Aveda curl cream, a Flora and Curl leave in and Cantu men's hair and beard oil.

Also I should have mentioned, any length in my hair and the greys go yellowish and not in a nice way.
I've tried the blue and purple shampoos and toners and glasses but it still looks a horrible colour in some areas when natural.

I’ve got thick curly hair with loads of greys too and I’ve had both.

The money piece worked well for me as it brightened up my whole head with minimal damage and a lot of my greys are round my face so it covered a lot up. Sometimes though it would look weird as my curls do their own thing and it would look uneven.

I really like the balayage and I’ve got one currently however it’s much more damage to my hair and it’s harder to manage as a result— much more frizz.
