Anyone have a claw clip for really thick hair?

Has anyone had success finding a claw clip for really thick straight longish hair? Is it a lost cause?
I’ve had an undercut to get rid of some of the weight, but they still seem to slide out after 2 minutes or just not hold at all.

The metal ones are best, I get mine in Tkmaxx normally.

I have these - very effective and they mean I can comfortably lean my head back

Weirdly Sainsbury’s do a really good one. Only one that works for me

OP have a look at Tegen online. They’re not cheap but I have two and they last - the mechanisms are solid and they use quality materials. Mine look just as good now as when I bought them three years ago. Link below.

Tala one is ok, but the best one was from Body Care-don't know if you can find any of their old stock somewhere?
