Please help .At the moment the only catalogue I can order from is Empire so please help me find a new wardrobe of clothes from there,if possible.
I am 5" so a shorty...lol
sort of apple shape (big bum)
I need longer style tops because I don't like showing belly, have wobbly arms so no sleeveless please.
Am biggish up top.
I am getting fed up I want casual/smart things please and comfy.
Everything i order seems to look wrong on me, I have tried the tunic style tops over jeans and I look pregnant.
If someone can look on there and give me some ideas of looks I can put together that would be great.
Thanks

if you have a big bum you are not an apple!

Can we have your size and dimensions ie

dress size (top and bottom if diff)

Bra size
waist
hips

how are your legs?

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 13:49

can you not get to shops?
one catalogue v restrictive. What about other catalogues?
Also what do you need exactly

mindalina · 24/06/2008 13:49

Oh you have my sympathy, it's a pain in the bum being really short isn't it. Am trying to find Empire website now

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 13:50

this?

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 13:51

this?

mindalina · 24/06/2008 13:51

Also with the sleeves, do you mean you want tops with long sleeves only? Or are short sleeves ok as long as there are some sleeves?

And yes what CD said, are there no other catalogues you can buy from? Empire doesn't seem to have a petite bit which would probably be a good starting point with your height (or lack thereof )

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 13:52

this

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 13:54

with some of these maybe?

CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 13:57

also get some nice high wedges like the red ones on teh top right pic on this page which will give you a bit of height!

notnuftime · 24/06/2008 14:04

notnuftime · 24/06/2008 14:18

I wear cropped trousers/pedal pushers/capri pants (whatever they are called this season) with my stumpy little legs, I don't honestly believe it's as shortening as people say.

What's your budget like? I think this jacket is quite nice but not what you'd call cheap.

notnuftime · 24/06/2008 14:26

The jacket is gorgeous but is it not too dressy for a school run mum?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 24/06/2008 14:33

here are your tips then!

mindalina · 24/06/2008 15:05

Hmm I see what you mean but I think with jeans or whateverit would look nice and casual anyway. Probably not one to sling on with combats though Plus, FREE BAG!

notnuftime · 24/06/2008 22:29

Mindalina what colour do you think I should go for? chocolate , mink or pink? It is in the sale 27.99!!!
