I mean, what????? How could she? I shouldn't have come into work today if I'd known someone was going to say something like that to me

And the worst thing is that someone else once told me this (about 10 years ago) and I've never got over it. She has always been a byword for 'eeugh' in my mum's book. So I've just been told (for the second time) that I look like someone who my mum has always said is revolting. Great.

Jeez. What can I do so that I look less like Delia bleedin' Smith?

Given that I have short dark hair and am just ordinary looking. And I'm 37.

I'm gutted. Really, quite seriously upset.

oh and last yr when i had my messy growing out bleached hair (nice) ds1 and dd kept calling me bloody tina off 'me too', that really annoying taxi driver who is about bloody 10 stone heavier than me for a start! think it was my specs too that made them think it. dd in fact actually truly believed it was mummy on the telly every time it cam on.
i'd forced that memory to the back of my mind

I tried with a couple of photos. First was quite pleasing, apart from my closest match being Rob Lowe (but I also got Mariah Carey, Anjelica Huston, Joan Collins and Selma Blair - again - so that was ok)

then I tried a second photo. omg. this is my best match and no. 5 is Pete Burns, ffs.

I am trying again to see if I get any 'celebrity twins'... please god don't let it be Pete Burns...

My dh's grandma was very pleased to tell me, as she was a lifelong fan of this person, that I looked EXACTLy like...

According to MyHeritage I mainly look like Gaudi (old and with a beard) and Florence Nightingale. Dp however is 71% George Clooney with a bit of Morten Harket and Kyle Mclachan thrown in.
