Does anyone have one of these? I just can't decide whether to splash out (it's a lot of money to me). My hair is shoulder length and wavy, very prone to frizz. I usually use a round brush and hairdryer. I'd love it to be smooth and swishy! Is this hairdryer all it's cracked up to be..? I've watched so many videos etc btw, so I know how it works. I just don't want to waste my money.

It claims not to cause damage but the reviews show a hairstylist claiming burnt hair and another person who burnt their ear. So I can’t imagine how much terror it’s causing on its direct contact with the hair.

Oh goodness, I've not seen that. The reviews do say it feels very hot, so I don't know how the 'no damage guarantee' works! I just so want it to be The Answer to giving me swishy hair!

Have you looked at the Dyson Airstrait? I was a loyal GHD user before this. I used to let my wavy, curly frizzy hair dry naturally then straighten it. Now I can dry and straighten at the same time. I am not sure if there’s any near you, but there are Dyson stores where you can try before you buy.
