Spa or treatment recommendations in and around St Albans please.

Can anyone recommend me a good spa/treatment place in Sr Albans or close by accessible by car? I have an afternoon and early evening to kill in Dr Albas so a pampering afternoon might be a bit of serendipitous luxury.

I have no idea why autocorrect changed that to Dr Albas.

Sopwell House but it’s very very expensive

The Grove but it is even more expensive. Champeneys near Tring.

Agree, Champneys is the best. Don’t go near the Champneys day spa in the High Street though, it was very disappointing.
