Help! Does this work for a 40th Birthday outfit?

It's August, venue is a nice, but not overly fancy pub for dinner and then drinks in bars around my fairly nice commuter town.

I feel like style wise it's me, but is it too casual? Would it dress up?

Also, sizing wise I am 5ft 2 size 8 in most brands - what's the sizing like for Farm Rio?

In this day and age of athleisure and people wearing baggy stained joggers to restaurants, I would say that isn't too casual at all! If it's your style, you'll be a knockout.

Check the length of the garment. It's quite likely to be too long.
