When is the sale?

Do you have any discount codes?

What are the sizes like?

Ta!

"Far Arse" sounds like a great "Dragon's Den" opportunity.

"I'm here today to ask you for £500,000 in return for 10% of my specialist clothing enterprise, Fat Arse."

Swedes · 24/06/2008 13:08

God, I hate Fat Face. Have you seen the website? Look at the dresses and I challenge you not to laugh out loud.

Bridie3 · 24/06/2008 13:12

I am never sure WHERE you'd wear the grown-ups clothes? On a surfing holiday? Camping?

I like the children's stuff though and buy it for my two.

Gobbledigook · 24/06/2008 13:23

What? Some of the dresses are lovely. The website doesn't do them justice - they look nicer on that in the pictures they use.

Fio - you're not near Wilmslow are you??

PInkyminkyohnooo · 24/06/2008 14:01

yes John Lewis Cheadle is the one I meant.

getmeouttahere · 24/06/2008 16:17

swedes, have you had your eyes tested recently? Some, not all, of the dresses are lovely and make the perfect "school run dress" so often quoted in the style topic.

I wear mine for shopping, days out, beach days, holidays, anytime really when you can wear a casual dress as opposed to the ubiquotous jeans.

BTW, I was there today (Trafford centre store) and there was NO sale on, and also no reduced items either which is unusual

Debenhams, on the other hand had a fab summer sale on

Whizzz · 24/06/2008 16:20

I like the tops but trousers never seem to fit properly (have small waist)

MingMingtheWonderPet · 24/06/2008 16:23

Last year I remember looking at their sale stuff on my own without any kids in tow which can only mean that the sale started before the school holidays!
Mid to late July in that case.

Love their clothes, and their children's sale is also very good.

Have a couple of 'school run' dresses from there and they are fab!

katierocket · 24/06/2008 16:24

the sale is already on at the Fat Face in Shrewsbury (which is titchy).

Hi there,

has anyone managed to get into the fat face website today? I have tried and tried, but it has now crashed!!! Does anyone have any idea when it might be back on? Should I be getting up through the night to check? I am determined to catch it !!!

girlnextdoor · 07/08/2008 13:29

I hate the assistants- they pounce on you and ask if you are "okay" {angry]

someone have a word with their training dept please.

dexter73 · 07/08/2008 14:16

They also sell clothes at John Lewis and they have free delivery!

ArtyMummy · 07/08/2008 18:27

Dexter73 ~

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!! I managed to get a dress and two skirts that had sold out in fatface! The only trouble is I had already orded loads ~ oh well, never mind.

Think I have spent approx £300 ~ is that rediculous

Whizzz · 07/08/2008 18:32

wow doesn't it make a change seeing a 'normal' sized model in the clothes too!

dexter73 · 07/08/2008 18:41

I love this skirt but I really don't need any more clothes!

MingMingtheWonderPet · 07/08/2008 18:45

It is only £20 tho, go on, you know you want to!

Bought 3 tops and a pair of shorts in the sale today. Off on holiday tomorrow so they have gone straight in the suitcase. No washing or ironing required!

dexter73 · 07/08/2008 20:56

But I have already bought 4 tops and a pair of jeans in the sale! I will leave it to fate and if it still there on Saturday morning then I will buy it.
