Help me find some comfy gold sandals

I'm going to a wedding next month and I'm looking for some gold sandals. I don't do well in heels these days but maybe a low heel or wedge would work. I'm also open to flats but to flats seem so much more casual? I'll be wearing a long dress so you won't actually be able to see my feet much.

I'm looking for something comfortable that I'll be in all day.

Any ideas of where to look please?

I've looked at mode in Pelle, dune, carvela, next and dine general google searches but can't find anything.

Comfort is number 1 tbh but want them to be a bit pretty!

a gold / silver "metallic" would also work

Thanks @SacrutiMonkey I didn't have pointy in mind but will keep them as an option as they are pretty. They're probably more expensive than I want to pay as I don't think I'd wear them more than once.

Look on Esska - very comfortable and stylish and generally lovely :-)
Take your pick there are loads:

otherwise the Art Company do gold shoes.

Worth looking on Vinted for Chie Mihara- she does beautifully made very classy expensive shoes but lots of good second hand ones on there.

Gold

Thanks @girlwhowearsglasses Esska has some nice ones and they are a nice gold colour. I'll have a look at the others you mentioned as well.

The Penelope Chilvers shepherdess sandals come in gold and they’re lovely and so comfortable

Honestly you will wear them again if they are comfy - gold does go with a lot of things. I bought some that weren’t too high for a wedding and wore them loads until I lost them! I miss them They do good sales at Esska too

fit flop have a few options - they are super comfy

I saw those Gracie ones earlier but I'm tempted by some of the edge ones as they look like a bit of a platform as well

It's not a brand I was aware of but I'll definitely look from now on

I like nice shoes that will last for years that I want to wear ITKWIM

I have just bought (and returned) huge numbers of gold sandals trying to find something comfortable. The FitFlop ones didn't work for me as the straps dug in uncomfortably (perhaps my feet are too fat). I wasn't that keen on the Dune ones either and also rejected some Jones the Bootmaker ones. I ended up keeping Maison Toufet Axelle. No issues - comfortable from day 1 walking everywhere but quite pricey and may be too casual for you.
