very dry skin around the eyes

I would be really grateful for any advice and recommendations.

I have developed really dry skin around my eye area and it makes it difficult to apply makeup without it looking terrible. I am completely rubbish with knowing what products to use. I’m in my 50’s and have just used whatever was on offer, but all of a sudden my skin is just awful.

I’m overwhelmed with the volume of products on the market. I just need something that is not too expensive that will tackle very dry skin and that is okay to use around my eyes.

I have the same and repeated applications of normal vaseline. Moisturiser after showering and removing make-up and vaseline repeatedly when you are not wearing makeup. I do this as soon as the skin starts to feel a bit sore to try and keep ahead of it. Consistency is important.

The nuxe reiv de meil comforting face balm is excellent and its fine to use around the eyes. Ive never had an issue with it and I have bad dry skin on my face and eyes

I use Kiehls avocado eye cream - works for me

I actually have a big pot of normal Vaseline that I use on my lips. I hadn’t even thought about using it on my eyes but I’ll definitely give that a go.

I’ll have a look at the nuxe reiv de meil face balm. I had a quick look on Amazon and it gets really good reviews.
