Tips for toddler fine hair

My toddler has inherited my really fine hair. It is mostly straight with slight curl at the back but I’m finding so hard to keep neat and to style especially now it’s not that long.

i brush it and it looks neat for 5 minutes but then because it’s so fine it gets messy and knotted really quickly.

whenever I try to put it up in a ponytail it gets more frizzy when I brush the hair back and I can’t manage to put a middle parting in to do bunches.

any tips for what type of brush to use / how to style?

Get a hairdressers spray bottle for water, a tail comb and kids poly bands. Use the spray to help corral as much hair into a bunch as possible.

If she has fine wavy hair it won’t stay in a pony tail likely until she’s preschool age and beyond. Tie the front part up (possibly in 2 sections), then gather the rest in a pony tail.

Thank you, the wet hair is a good idea .
