Fossil Harper cross body bag - trying to source a replacement strap?

Bag itself is absolutely immaculate and the nicest, softest leather ever. Strap split a few years ago now and I’ve not been able to get a good replacement. Fossil themselves were useless and couldn’t recommend anywhere and I tried a few local leather repair places who tried flying it together (came sort again after a few weeks) or fashioned a belt into a strap (didn’t work).

Had anyone been able to find somewhere good online for this sort of thing? Google of course brings up hundreds of amazon, Etsy and shein type things but I’m not confident in the quality.

Will check bag measurements as I’ve just seen the bag on EBay for £30 ish which, by time I’ve fannyed about trying to replace just the strap I could just put that one on mine and have a spare 😄
