I’m hoping for some advice regarding a suitable dress.
I’ve been invited to a formal birthday party at an old established upmarket hotel. It’s a significant birthday for an older person.
I am representing our family. The relationship isn’t quite that of my Mother being their family ‘treasure’, but along those lines.
I am in a position to be able to buy whatever dress I want, but I am not really interested in fashion. All I am hoping to do is find an outfit which is sufficiently suitable that I will feel comfortable and not look out of place.
I am size 18, average height, and wish to have my upper arms covered.
I’ve found some dresses I think might be ok but would welcome opinions please.
