Have you tried a jelly bra? Was it any good?

32 f and hate underwire. Keep getting ads for jelly bra on my social media feed but don’t know anyone who has one. Anyone out there recommend them and if so a particular brand? Or anyone tried them
and would not recommend?

I’ve not heard of them. I hate underwired bras. The only ones I’ve ever found anywhere near comfy are from shapermint - I have a few from there.

I took delivery of two just today! I'm also a 32F.

Very comfortable, and looks better than the 'comfort bra' style I usually wear. However- I had to go for a 'sister size', and the band is a little too large. I can fix that though. Also- you can convert the straps to racerback style.

I can't say how they hold up to washing yet obviously. Or if the straps might stretch. But so far am very impressed.

JennyChawleigh · 30/05/2026 22:29

Aren't they just the same as the Sloggi zero feel bras?

PonkyPonky · 30/05/2026 22:31

Yes and I love them! I am fully converted. I started off buying the more expensive ones but recently gave the SHEIN ones a go and they are identical. They wash really really well. It’s worth a go to see if they are for you. I’m a 32DD

@Shodan and @PonkyPonky can I ask what brands you have tried?

Ive just got 3 jelly bras from Shein. Absolutely amazing. Id never go back. Cost about £10 for 3 - Id never pay what shapermint etc are charging. I know that not everyone likes Shein but it works for me & the bras are well worth it.

I wore mine with a cream top and a custard scarf. It was a trifle uncomfortable.

Lottapianos · 31/05/2026 08:58

I bought one from Celeste. I followed their sizing guidance on the website. It was a joke when it turned up - the back was too big and there was no support at all to the cups. I'm a 34H and I had a fitting with Rigby and Peller instead - not cheap but I bought three excellent bras that give great shape and take a lot of weight off my back and shoulders

I bought the Celeste ones too and followed their sizing guide but I’m not a fan. They feel too big around the band and although they look ok when I first put one on as soon as I start moving etc I feel like I just get a uniboob. It needs pulling down a lot. I got sucked in by the ads on Instagram where they look amazing but realised all the models have implants so yes their boobs look great but I don’t look the same!

WhatNextImScared · 31/05/2026 09:53

I bought one and I do like it but the sizing is wrong. I am 34D and it said medium but the band is too big. Otherwise it’s comfy and great shape. I’m going to try a small but the cup is perfect on a medium so think it might be too tight 🤷‍♀️

Shodan · 31/05/2026 10:17

@Yeahokmaybe I caved to FB advertising and tried the sunnybee one- tbh I've no idea if it was a 'genuine' one, or a 'fake', but I'm happy with what I got.

smallsilvercloud · 31/05/2026 10:36

Research the company before buying, I bought from an ad on a whim and got unlucky, when it turned up it was a tiny poor quality bra made very cheaply but the website looked good but quality didn’t match.

Does anyone have any links or screenshots of ones that were good?

mondaytosunday · 31/05/2026 12:26

Yes really like them I’d be et go back.

CoverIt · 31/05/2026 16:17

I’ve tried two and neither was right for me - both started off with good support when I first put them on but within a short time everything would be sagging and drooping.

CluelessAboutBiology · 31/05/2026 16:21

I had to google them and they look entirely different than I was expecting. I pictured them like the jelly shoes from the 80s, and couldn’t see how they would be comfortable!
