Matching foundation to fake tan?

I never usually wear fake tan, and have never had a real tan in my life.
I am very fair, natural redhead and have the skin to go with it! My hair is dyed black, and my general vibe is 'alt/elder emo'.
I recently used Bondi Sands lightest fake tan for an event, and really liked the way it made my skin look! I thought my face was a bit odd though - I usually wear double wear foundation in cool bone, and had to use a lot of bronzer to blend my face with my body.
I'm getting married this year, and would love to use the tan again. How would I go about matching my foundation to the fake tan? I don't want to put tan on my face, as I would still need a high voberage foundation.
Thanks 🙂

I think fake tan can go horribly wrong, even when care is taken to apply. Do you want that on your wedding day? If you are set on it then have a couple of trial runs first and head to boots and do tests with foundations or speak to a MUA and ask the, to match you when they do your wedding make up.

There is a lady who is really good at talking you through matching skin tones. She’s very pale but has a false tan all the time. It’s all about matching your foundation to your chest colour.

Her page is AskEllenBeauty she’s on all the socials, she’s Australian.

This is super common with fake tan especially on very fair skin. Instead of changing your whole foundation, it’s usually better to slightly warm it up for events like your wedding, either by mixing in a tiny bit of a warmer shade or a drop of liquid bronzer so you keep the same coverage but shift the undertone. You can also get advice from MUA.
