Birkenstock Eva Madrid Big Buckle

Another Birkenstock question but I really want the Eva Madrid Big Buckle for my holiday. I tend to get on fine with Birkenstocks despite having wide feet and a high instep but have never had the plastic ones. Can anyone tell me if they rub? Either the shoe generally or the big buckle?

thanks

I have these on my feet just now, I find them even more comfortable than regular Birkenstocks, no rubbing - get them!

the leather version can rub a bit where the buckle is attached to the leather strap with a small staple. I have had 3 pairs, two leather and one plastic. The rubbing is easy to fix with some suede tapes. They’re really comfy shoes, and I can walk in them for a long time. The sole doesn’t seem to last me more than a year or so though, so they’re a bit expensive for the quality.

Forgot to add the Eva ones don’t rub at all and are even more comfy than the leather. I’ve just worn them to walk on the treadmill

Thanks everyone. I’m going to get them

I have the black with a gold buckle, they’re lovely. Get them!
