Hi all,

Attaching the clothes list for my DC, who has js turned 4 this May. Some budget-friendly but stylish clothing lines, brands, online websites you recommend?

Am I forgetting anything? If so, tell me what needs to be bought - this is designed to last the entire year and be ALL clothes needed. I'm neurodivergent so tasks like these can be stressful for me.

I think most of my kids clothes at that age came from supermarkets - at least 75% dudes. I’d have another swimsuit unless you rarely go to the beach/swimmming. Will they be starting school this coming year? Much of the time they’ll be in school uniform.
I’d include some vests to wear under clothes on cold weather. Also your child will grow a lot this year so you might get this summer stuff that fits and autumn winter next size up.

I think one of my 4 year olds spent the entire year dressed as robin hood and the other one insisted they were a rainbow unicorn. I would be cautious about committing to loads of different clothes when your child might end up living in shorts all year or whatever their thing is. Maybe get the essential practical stuff like coats and wellies and pants and a couple of sets of rhe other bits ans then you can add to them over the year if they have favourites.

How did you react to their identities? (Did you feed them unicorn food?) DC identifies as human so far, but has pink glitter headphones w/ cat ears (as she's autistic) and sometimes meows at Teddy (our house cat) - Honestly I wouldn't be adverse if she's therian as far less work to raise a cat than a human kid 😹😻
