What to do with stained wedding dress?

I have a beautiful, what was very expensive satin wedding dress. Sadly with stains. It was cleaned after wear (30 years ago) but some of the stains didn’t come out. It’s no good to be worn now. Any thoughts what to do with it? I cannot due it and rewear as it’s very wedding dressy and not suitable for anything else.

One of my favourite dresses when I was about 17 was a lace wedding dress I got from the charity shop - removed the lining and dyed black. My local charity shop nowadays has a 'broken birds' rail of interesting things to be mended or for craft projects.

There are a couple of charities that take wedding dresses and make them into dresses for stillborn babies, I donated mine to one of them

Offer it on vinted for a fairly low price. Be clear about the stains. Someone may have different standards from you and be delighted to pick up a bargain wedding dress. Someone might be v happy to die it and wear it for a prom or similar. Anyway, if someone's paid for it (even if only £20) you know they actually wanted it and will make some sort of use of it. Which is better than it taking up space in your cupboard doing nothing.

Give it to a charity shop and they will sell it in their main shop for a few quid for fancy dress. Stains won’t matter when it is blood splattered and torn for Halloween corpse bride - or do corpse bride yourself?

Give it to the local theatre group

I have loads of occassion dresses from 90/00s all slightly torn/stained/trampled on 😂I have sold on vinted for low prices and the receipients have been very grateful and happy! £25 for for a moth eaten stained V Westwood tartan etc - I made plenty ££ overall and made lots of space! They all seemed delighted - go for it!
