Monsoon do up to a size 22 now and I was trying them on for going to wedding - opted for trousers and top as couldn't be arsed with shaving legs etc fake tan but the still had great stuff which took in norks and bump

gigglewitch · 22/06/2008 21:03

go - you might even feel human if you get a night out
go for nice shoes and get your hair done too, make yourself feel really good. (thus speaks a shoe addict, naturally)

dizzydixies · 22/06/2008 21:05

something like this

V neck flatters norks/little sleeves for top of arms, comes in under bust then out for bump

Romy7 · 22/06/2008 21:05

and book the afternoon to get your hair and make-up and pedicure done - by then you will feeling fabulous and wanting to flaunt it, surely?
all the skinnies will be green with envy

dizzydixies · 22/06/2008 21:07

this?

I tried this one and its strechy fabric stuff

dizzydixies · 22/06/2008 21:08

another idea

4andnotout · 22/06/2008 21:08

Well dp has said he really wants us to go and for us to get dressed up as we havent been out alone in over 2 years It would be nice to buy a lovely frock as we haven't ever got married so never got a posh frock!

I like the style of the last one as it will cover up some of my tattoo's, hadn't even thought of monsoon, our local store doesn't stock a lot.

4andnotout · 22/06/2008 21:17

Oh im loving the maxi dress, but have just put a bid on the ebay dress, as i also have a wedding on aug bank holiday..(can you wear black to a wedding??)

I think that when you're pregnant, you can get away with black at a wedding-can add a coloured sash or shoes and maybe a flower in your hair.

justkeepswimming · 22/06/2008 21:25

or try here}
of you don't want to buy and that way you could have a different dress for the 2 events!

Yes, GO! You'll have a fab time and you'll hopefully have a gentle boogie now and then (I went to a wedding and a party at 7 and 9 months preg and had a whale of a time).

When your baby is born the only time you'll spend burning the midnight oil will be for those wretched sleepness nights, so grab the chance to groove while you still can! Have fun!!

justkeepswimming · 23/06/2008 14:02

sorry went to bed

yes you can.
the first time i went to their surrey shop (back then it was just upstairs in someones house) as a friend lives nearby.
the second time i just ordered off the net.

if you are unsure re sizes, ask them if a particular dress comes up big or small. i have found them v helpful.

ps the first time i couldn't return the dress in the set time as i was in labour! it was all packed up ready to go but dh didn't prioritise it, lol.
they were fine about it.

have fun!
