Oliver Bonas belt bag

Saw a bag i like in Oliver Bonas, a cross body one. Assumed I'd wear it on my back... but all the pics on the website show it being worn across the front. Am I being silly, can it not be worn on the back? What do you think?

I have this bag in a pewter/silver. I only really use it for travelling, passports etc so wear it front ways. You could wear it across the back or even underarm but I would say it has a quiet zip so you might want to think about how to secure it if you're going to have valuables in it.
