What top/shoes/fascinator/hat for this wedding outfit?

This is a dress I’m planning on wearing to a wedding in late August. What top/cover up/shoes? I was thinking of a silver cashmere pashmina but I’m not sure. Also stuck on the shoes. And hat/fascinator.

maybe silver block heels or wedges?

maybe a peony fascinator/headband? (This is not the right shade but YGTI)

Gorgeous dress - your shoulders look amazing. Would you consider wiring a real flower onto a headband? It's very easy and cheap.

I love that idea! The only snag is I’ll be staying with in-laws in the middle of the countryside so might not be able to grab a suitable flower on the morning of. I think it would be good to have something as back up.

I would go for a clashing colour eg orange

@ladyrinths TY alike that style! I forgot to say that the bride has a colour scheme and wants us all in pink or blue but maybe that style in silver or fuschia would be good?

Im not a fan of fascinators and hats - you have lovely hair, I’d have it done professionally. Statement earrings. I like the idea of silver accessories. Blazers look more modern than wraps IMO

Yes I think fuchsia might look more modern than silver and I a prefer a little jacket vs a wrap.

You'll probably be able to get something from their garden - just take a basic alice band and a wire and do it there! Hydrangeas work really well - something with a sturdy stem. Much nicer than something fake.

How are you wearing your hair? Up or down?

Unless you really want a hat/fascinator I think they are starting to look a little dated and a little aging.

I agree with PP who said fuschia wrap-maybe a pattern? or solid is a cleaner more elegant look. Silver bag and silver block heel shoes.

No idea what your accessories budget but I'd get some fabulous earrings and leave the head wear alone.

Am also not a fan of fuss and fascinator stuff @HermioneWeasley @MrsMitford3 but bride wants us all to to wear headwear and be glam. A big flower was my compromise -

• unfortunately I don’t have pierced ears. Hair will be down, no stylist will so whatever I go for will have to be fairly simple, and reception will be on a lawn so no stilettos because will sink into grass

Ah then I would def go for a big FO hat or a wide headband with flowers.

I'd try looking at more independent places- this seller has some gorgeous stuff and pretty reasonably priced.
