I have lost a bit of weight recently and was looking forward to wearing a slinky dress at my brother's wedding but I have recently found out I am pregnant - which is good news

So, I will be about 16/18 weeks at his wedding in September. I just don't want to look frumpy, all help much appreciated!

I wore a purple shift dress from Picchu maternity at a wedding last week, very comfortable and beautiful looking too. Had lots of compliments. www.picchumaternity.com/uk/acatalog/maternity_shift_dress.html

This sort of thing?

McDreamy · 22/06/2008 13:33

Love that shift dress milf, very nice and not unreasonably priced either, thanks

This is pretty too, though you'd need a jacket/shrug for September, probably.
Quite a good selection in general, here.

Nice Jackie bit I think I prefer the shift dress

I have a lovely pair of red velvet shoes so I am tempted by the red one milf! What colour did you get? How many weeks are you?

I wore mine with silver kitten heels and a silver clutch bag. Simple but effective!

I got the purple one and I was 22 weeks, will fish out a pic and put it on my profile.

I am a size 12-ish normally.

Not the best angle or pic but you get the general idea! It was a very smart wedding too.

McDreamy · 22/06/2008 13:40

did you buy a 12 as it says it's sizes are very generous!

I got a size down and it fitted fine, still got lots more room in it - which is fortunate as wearing it to an evening do next month.

lovely thank you

McDreamy · 22/06/2008 14:40

That green one is nice but I'm a bit worried it might bit a little too small for me. I am normally a 12

Ebay def. worth a look, though. There are lots on there that have been worn once, for a wedding.
