How to get some movement in my hair when it doesn't like heat?

Any styling tips I can try please for below shoulder length fine dry hair. I've got an air wrap but it just dries my hair out too much. If I just blow dry it it goes a bit limp. Sraighteners are out. Anything I need to try?

Self grip rollers? Put styling spray or mousse on almost dry hair then put in rollers. Take them out once your hair has dried. You can use hairspray for additional hold once you take the rollers out. There are also texturising sprays. Sometimes you have to try a few products to find what works for you. Do you generally use a heat protector at all?

Even tipping your head forward and applying hairspray/styling spray/texturising spray to the roots can help.

Thanks @Needtosoundoffandbreathe haven't tried those and some great ideas there. Do use heat spray but not hairspray so will try that and I've not tried texturising spray either.
