Can anyone recommend a good pair of dungarees

I’m quite picky. I’d like then to be quite baggy fitting so not tight over my stomach. Ideally barrel or wide legged and slightly cropped. Denim but nice soft denim (not essential as they will soften with wear and washing anyway). These ones from Next are almost perfect but don’t seem to sit right on me so I’d like to try a few more pairs:

I tried on a shitload of dungarees a couple of months ago, with the same list of wants as you. None of the high street offerings fit the bill, so I tried these Amazon ones and they're amazing. They are full length but the cut of the legs means they look really good rolled up so you'd get your cropped style that way. They are very soft and comfy. Although they're not very wide legged, but somewhere in between wide and straight legged I'd say? I am a size 12 and they are flattering. They go in at the small of the back so you don't look like a sack of potatoes.

My DN loves her Lucy & Yak dungarees

There are no good dungarees.

I got some from Levi’s a few months ago, they’re absolutely perfect. Dh hates them which adds to my sheer joy 😂
also bought a denim jumpsuit from there, bloody love them both.

I second Levi's. The xl ones.

I do like Lucy and Yak but I would like some with the traditional buckles this time rather than the tie straps. But that sort of loose fit would be nice. It’s a struggle finding something that fits over my mum tum flatteringly but doesn’t drown me in the process. I tend to wear quite loose, wide legged trousers to skim the belly with a tighter jumper or t shirt on top. Finding it hard to replicate that fit in dungaree form! There are loads on Vinted but I’d really need to be able to try them on and have the option to send back easily as it’s hard to tell what the fit will be like from a photo alone.

Whistles cropped corduroy. No dungarees suit me. I was also of the opinion there were no good dungarees. I’m not even a big fan of Whistles (I used to like their older stuff). I think they might be quite old though as I bought them on Vinted as I needed some for an event (a very weird event!). I was so surprised, they look really good, and they don’t have that children’s presenter vibe like Lucy and Yak.

I've had my eye on the jumpsuit, the model looks so cool in the pictures! Unfortunately for them but fortunate for my credit card they didn't have it in store when I went the other weekend!
