I’m looking for a wedding guest dress for a wedding next month. I had a baby last year and I’m a stone and a half heavier than I’d like to be. I carry weight quite well as I carry it all over my body but the downside to that is there’s no part of my body that I feel ‘confident’ about.
I’m 5 foot 4, a large size 12 with a big bust (need to wear a bra). Although I’m not very short I do wear a lot from the petite range - anything long or with lots of fabric swamps me. I’m an hourglass and I normally prefer outfits that nip in at the waist.
I have dark hair and suit cool toned colours. I’m 30 and love clothes, despite lacking confidence at the moment. Brands I like are ASOS, Nobody’s Child, Abercrombie, And Other Stories, Mango… I would be looking to pay under £100 but can stretch to £150 for the perfect dress.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful!
