Hair disaster with photo 😭

Help please style and beauty guru's. I got my hair done during the week and the colour is a total disaster. I look like an extra in shameless. How can I fix this brassy mess?

This is what my usual colour is. I am 45 so like a natural look. Usual time delays for photos uploading.

The hairdresser won’t want you to be unhappy with your hair. I would go back and ask them to tone it.

It’s hard to tell from that pic but I’d be going back to the salon if you are unhappy.

I agree ask them to put a toner on as you are not happy, it's important to sort out sooner rather than later. Good luck.

Purple shampoo. It’s not a disaster and it doesn’t look awful imo.

Just needs a slightly ashy toner on it?

You just need a toner or put the Provoke purple hair mask on your hair for half an hour before you wash your hair.

i don’t think it looks brassy at all. It’s slightly lighter/brighter than the Jennifer Anniston pic, but not much!

I like the colour in the photo, more corn gold than brassy?

When I look in the mirror my hair looks yellow like a corn field. I washed my hair with L'Oréal purple shampoo the other night didn't notice much difference after. Thanks everyone

Can you brush it and take another photo in a different light?

I think it looks lovely but perhaps it’s the lighting.

@Butterme that's probably a better idea. I just quickly took a photo when still in bed this morning. Just having a coffee will run the cloud 9s over and post another photo.

I really like it! In fact, it’s like my new colour which I’m really pleased with.

Shrine ash toner drops. They’re great. You add them to your conditioner.

I can't tell the difference between the two photos! It looks great.

Get the ultra tone shampoo and conditioner - John frieda. Leave on for half an hour. Also my highlights take a while to blend.

Maybe it's a me problem rather than a hair problem will try another few washes with purple shampoo maybe like pp have said my hair just needs time to settle.

Looks fine, but if you’re concerned contact your hairdresser and get an ashy toner put on it.

I don’t think it looks brassy but I’m a similar toned down blonde and I use the clairol blonde it up crystal toner inbetween salon visits. My hairdresser recommended it to me

Try leaving the purple shampoo on for about 10-15 mins rather than washing it off. If that’s not fixed it, I’d go back to the hairdressers because the second photo shows it more clearly as brassier and lighter than your target colour.

The first photo looks really nice.
