Gold Gracie Fitflop sandals

Does anyone owns these who also owns Tevas and rates both? I absolutely love my Tevas and recommend them constantly but I really want a gold pair of sandals but they must be comfortable. I feel Fitflop might fit the bill and like the look of the Gracie's.

I ordered Gracie fitflops and returned them as I found them very uncomfortable. If you get the chance to try them on rather than buying online you might save yourself some time. I don’t have Teva’s but do have similar sketchers sandals.

That's good to know. I'm not sure of anywhere near me that sells them. Plus there's a discount online. I think it's free returns so can always have a good try on at home.

There are a few fitflop styles called gracie. I bought the gracie backstrap sandals and I have to say they are soooo comfy. I wore them straight out of the box no issues.
Also if you don't like them their return/ refills process is easy - I know this as my daughter bought me the same shoes for my birthday, so I had to return one pair.

I've never worn Tevas, so I cannot comment on a comparison.

Do you mean these? I have them. Very comfortable and my inner five year old would declare them very very sparkly!

I don't have Tevas though.

I have Teva Tirras and love them but I recently bought a pair of Fit Flop Neo D Hykers which I am wearing more than the Tevas as soooo comfortable. They don’t look so nice though so I suppose it depends the kind of walking they are for. I don’t think the fitflops are as supportive though as the Tevas.

These won't be for walking much at all, mainly worn in the evening. I do wear Tevas all times of the day but it's the gold that's drawing me to the Fitflops. Even though they won't be worn for a long period of time, I have issues with shoes/sandals rubbing (particularly on the balls of my feet) which is why I want to make sure they're comfortable.

It's these ones I'm looking at (I didn't realise they had more than one Gracie style)

Image under review but it's the back strap ones, so good to know you rate them @JustPaintedMyRoomGreen

Based on my first experience with FitFlops I am definitely on the look out for others (on eBay or Vinted). Love the gold ones 🤩

outdoorkitchen · 14/05/2026 20:41

I have both fitflops and tevas, and i
I find the fitflops more comfy, I can walk for miles in them (my merrels are the best of them all!)

outdoorkitchen · 14/05/2026 20:44

Should have said, I have the sandals you have pictured ( well I have 3 pairs of their trainers and pair of loafers too - I really rate them)

Plump82 · 15/05/2026 09:44

Well, you've all convinced me so I've put an order in and hopefully find them nice and comfortable!

I have these (first picture with this years style) and they are soo comfy. Just back from weekend abroad and wore them
constantly. Did over 15000 steps most days and no rubbing or sore feet.

SparklingBettie · 15/05/2026 09:54

I love fitflops. I have your Gracie ones in brown. I have the wedge backless ones, trainers and many others. The one time I deviated and bought walking sandals from teva I returned them as the plastic parts holding the fabric together snapped on day 2 of holidays. I was able to get a fast refund so can’t fault their customer service.

I have these in tan and find them incredibly comfortable. I have walked all day in them no problem (walked all day as in city break sightseeing, not hillwalking or anything too strenuous!)

PotatoBreadForTheWin · 15/05/2026 09:59

That said I have just had a look at the website as was considering the gold pair - they are £100!! Can’t remember what I paid for the tan ones but it won’t have been anywhere near that

Plump82 · 15/05/2026 11:24

They offer a discount online so I can get them for £85. For leather sandals I don't think that's too bad. I don't think I'd pay £100 though!
