What jacket would go with this dress for a Scottish wedding?

Can anyone suggest a jacket or layering option to go with this dress? I’ve got a wedding in Scotland next week and I’m a bit worried about being cold.

I’m open to ideas — boleros, blazers, wraps, anything really!

(And just to head it off — yes, it’s from Shein. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but after trying loads from the high street this was genuinely the best fit for me.)

Maybe a white oversized blazer? I hate wraps and boleros even more, so would try and find a jacket!

Maybe it’s me but a leather jacket (or pleather) always seems ideal with a wedding guest look.

Maybe I’m old but I think a wrap is the best option with such a flowy dress, and a lovely one at that. Although the green velvet from Vinted looks like a strong possibility.

If you have boobs, a bolero is a waste of time. I’ve never seen any wedding guest wear a leather jacket. What colour with that dress? Basically there aren’t many options.Oversize white jacket is a no for a wedding. White isn’t suiting the dress, it will look huge. White isn’t really on at a wedding either. It’s a fairly demure dress do the only option is dark pink - or green. Hard to find!

Lovely dress!

Teal might look nice? Dress in Debenhams picture has fairly similar colours to yours. With the sleeve shape though, a shawl/stole/pashmina might suit better.

These are lovely but if worry I wouldn't get them in time. 🩷

I like the pashmina idea. Thank you

Thinking outside the box. Long johns!

I’m not kidding. I recently bought some shapewear long shorts and they are so much warmer under dresses for these “British summer” 🥶 events. So thermal long shorts would be a good option.

And then you can be more flexible on the top half and don’t need it to be super warm.

Buy the widest longest pashmina you can afford. I think it will go nicely if you find it cold on the day.
They are my go-to & once you start wearing them, you’ll soon have a drawer full.
Have a lovely day. Your dress is pretty & perfect for the occasion.
