Sandals for barrel leg linen trousers

I need some ideas for sandals to wear with barrel leg linen trousers. They need to be comfortable enough to walk in (ie sightseeing) but not look like orthopedic shoes. And also reasonably current in style.

Fairly normal feet, no particularl budget.

Can anyone help?!

Funnily enough current sandal styles DO look like orthopaedic shoes.

Personally I’m a fan of Teva but I’m guessing they’re not going to hit your brief.

I love my Salt Water sandals, incredibly comfortable. If they had arch support, they'd be perfect.

That's a fair point @Divebar2021 Maybe I need to embrace the look! I feel like the same item can look completely different on different people but perhaps I need to figure out how to make it look intentional - it's probably about the whole outfit including the sandals.

The barrel leg linen trousers are quite brave for me because half my brain thinks "ooh cute!" and the other half thinks "wtf are you wearing?!"

If chunky orthopedic styles work then that's a win all round!
