What works to hide spider veins?

If anything? My legs are very pale, I'm blonde and never really tan. I am a bit self conscious about patches of spider veins on my legs and tend to wear swishy maxi or midi skirts through spring and summer to cover them up. Does anyone have any tricks for wearing something a bit shorter? Wondering if a spray tan would help, or the Sally Hansen stuff - or if I should take the plunge and go to a vein clinic!

Well I’ve used the Sally Hansen and would recommend that. It’s not a fake tan it’s a make up for legs and I’ve been impressed with the coverage and longevity.

Try some fake tan.

I know someone who got them removed via a clinic, I don’t bother but would at a pinch use fake tan.

Sally Hansen will work. I have recently been having IPL treatment for spider veins on my face and it has really been easy and pretty pain free, so if they really bother you I'd try that - the good thing about being super fair is that laser/ipl works better the more contrast there is

Not tried, but I keep getting Facebook ads for Miracle de Paris body makeup which I'm going to buy at some point.

That's interesting - I'm really tempted to do it. But perhaps I'll give Sally Hansen a go while I save up!

Hi OP. A light self tan/body tint can help soften the contrast especially on very fair skin (it can make them less noticeable visually). Body makeup with a satin finish also tends to photograph nicely & gives more coverage for events or holidays. If you want longer-term improvement, clinics usually suggest treatments or laser depending on the type of veins. For topical products I’d look more at formulas with light-reflecting pigments & hydrating ingredients.
