Don’t know about those specifically but I have a pair of similar shaped black trousers and they look really nice. In terms of body shape I am rectangle. I think they give me a bit more of a waist by being wider on the thigh. I expect it comes down to body shape rather than size. I have a bit of a c-section shelf and I think the pleats are actually really flattering. I thought they would emphasise my belly but they really don’t.
