Is there anywhere to get some nice, stylish wide fit shoes?

I really like the currently trendy shoes - the ballet slippers with a strap over the top, nice trainers (adidas Sambas always catch my eyes), some chunky trainers for walking a lot, some nice sandals. I want to build up a collection of really nice shoes.

But I feel like nothing is actually that nice when it comes to wide fit shoes. They all feel like the same, slightly granny-ish variations. I just have uber wide feet, is there anywhere to get nice shoes?! Or am I destined to wear my same three pairs on rotation?!

You could try Sargasso & Grey, they have some stylish shoes amongst some Granny styles

Simply Be have wide fit shoes as do Yours/Evans (website)
Next do a “wide fit” but not sure how “wide” they mean by that.
hopefully you’ll find something nice 👌

Hoka do wide fit trainers. Mine are the most comfortable trainers I’ve ever owned.

Look into barefoot shoes too.

Look at van dal shows too.

Dune do wide fit but only online. Quite a few trainers are in wide fit e.g. Brooks but limited colours. Men’s versions of trainers are bigger all over not just in length. I bought men’s Gola trainers in sale and fit well.

Seconding the barefoot shoes. Mukishoes and Xero are two brands off the top of my head for trainers. You might need to size up and add insoles.

I don’t want barefoot shoes, I want comfortable ones!

Are you a half size or a full size?
If a full size then JD Williams, Next, New Look do wide and extra wide fashion shoes and trainers.
If like me you are a half size you are doomed.

Gettingbysomehow · 11/05/2026 12:12

Van Dal has a sale on now but you cant trust their sizes. I normally upsize by a half size and a EE if Im buying their shoes. They come up very small.

Look at fit flop
