My husband and I share a wardrobe where I keep dresses and he keeps shirts but I need more space than he does. We each have a 8 space IKEA KALLAX shelf unit and I have a bedside table with two drawers. Underwear and socks live in the bedside table. I have a system with drawers for trousers, skirts, tops, pyjamas thermals, leggings and miscellaneous. Jumpers live at the bottom of the wardrobe, bags, hats and scarves at the top. Shoes don't get put away, ones I don't wear regularly live under my dressing table, the ones I do wear regularly are downstairs wherever they happen to have been taken off.

Not enough although that's partly because the fitted wardrobes (that are from the 80s) don't have the right kind of storage for us (too much hanging space, not enough shelves, narrow but deep drawers), we're going to pull them all out and replace with something more flexible that we will configure to our needs.

Must be the day for it, I'm currently hiding behind a massive pile of clothes as my husband rage clears out walk in wardrobe 😅

We have a long narrow cupboard between two bedrooms which was perfect to kit out with the narrow Ikea PAX system so it gives us a double wardrobe space each plus shelves.

In the bedroom we have a large chest of drawers which gives us 2 long and 2 small drawers each which we both keep gym clothes, underwear and pyjamas. All other clothes in the wardrobe.

Seasonal clothes are packed away. That's why I'm hiding, I hate doing it. Holiday clothes into one suitcase, fluffy pyjamas and wool jumpers into another and on top of wardrobe.

Just ordered pull out trouser rails for the wardrobe so the plan is to each have 2 hanger rails, trouser rail, shelf for jumpers hoodies. Theres a single long hanger rail for suits, dresses and coats. Shelves used for bags, hats and what ever other junk I have that doesn't have a home will be in a box on one shelf.

DH and I have one standard sized wardrobe each. I keep clothes on the rail and shoes in a laundry basket in the bottom of the wardrobe. There's a shelf at the top where I have three baskets from IKEA that hold pyjamas, gym wear, swimsuits etc.

I have a bedside drawer with three drawers. One for bras and vests, one for knickers and one for socks and tights.

We have another wardrobe in the spare bedroom where we keep out of season things like bulky winter coats or where I move my summer dresses and shorts to in the winter.

I have two underbed drawers and a 2/3 empty clothes rail, maybe 20 hangers for things like silk dresses, blouses, blazers. Then I have about 12 coats: mac, parka, trench, tweed, leather, etc, on a coat rack downstairs.

My underbed drawers are half the width of the bed and the full length. They have dividers inside, one each for bras, knickers, socks, vests, tops, and trousers in one drawer, and then miscellany, pyjamas, swimmers, massive jumpers, funeral garb, etc in the other.

I buy and wear a smallish (12 coats is actually loads) amount of very high spec clothing and don't keep things I don't like or wear. I wear my clothes out and then replace, so I don't have, like, 10 pairs of gym leggings or 50 random t-shirts.
